On the way up..
Got up to 13,000ft, last 1,000ft of road was closed, still too much snow.
Had lunch at 10,000ft..
Which I got to share with an amazing bird. He flew down, sat on the branch next to me, I could touch him. Gave him some hummus on the branch. Sure likes hummus!
Back down from Pike's Peak, stop at Manitou Springs for a beer;
Riding through Zion
Gate at Zion, clouds are gathering. Forecast says 5-12" of snow tomorrow, no ways!
And then, this morning, at Bryce Canyon, a surprise;
Snow in Bryce Canyon is an amazing site;
And now, in storage at Las Vegas airport, waiting for the next trip, starting May 24th, the rest of Utah including Bonneville salt flats. 140mph should do it..
